Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a heat generating recorder of a small size and a great cooling effect without lowering the recording function due to dusts or the like by providing heat transmitting means having an interrupting plate on a support member supporting a heat generating section which records information on a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The recorder comprises a heat generating section 5 formed by arranging a plurality of heat generating members in column, a support member 6 for supporting the heat generating part 5, a heat pipe 7 provided with a part of the support member 6, a fan 10 for blasting in the vicinity of other end of the heat pipe 7, and an interrupting plate 14 constituted such that the movement of air generated by the fan 10 does not affect the heat generating part 5 and the support member 6. The heat pipe 7 is a member which is very excellent in heat transmission and used as heat transmitting means, and the heat of the support member 6 heated by the generated heat of the heat generating part 5 is transferred from one end 7a in contact with the support member quickly to other end 7b radiating heat and cooling. Accordingly, since heat generated by the heat generating part 5 is not accumulated in the heat generating members while not in operation, there occurs neither blushing nor noise at the recording paper.
