Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a compressed porous material with a desired density and function by dispersing a resin granular solid with thermoplasticity diameter thereof is smaller than the former pores into a breathing porous material after it is impregnated with a synthetic resin liquid and dried and subjecting the material to heating and pressurization at a given temperature.
CONSTITUTION: On the base surface of a porous material made of a polyester- based or polyether-based urethane continuous foam material and various kinds of thermoplastic resin, is attached a thermoplastic resin with a lower melting point than the base material and a synthetic resin material which offers an adhering function by heating and dissociation of isocyanates blocked. Then, a single hot melting granular solid, smaller in the pore diameter and clearance than the porous material, or an auxiliary powder including wooden powder or a mixed powder is included into the pores and the clearance of the porous material by vibration, spraying, by a solvent or the like. The product is subjected to a heat compression at a temperature between the melting points of the porous material and the synthetic resin granular solid until the porous material reaches the desired apparent density.
