Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce instrumental error almost to zero covering all flow range and relatively widen rangeability of flowmeter, by counting number of periods of detected pulse indicated in flowmeter and multiply it by fixed value and then, make it generate compensation pulses.
CONSTITUTION: When liquid to be measured flows into flowmeter, pulses 31W34 are supplied from detector 1 to measuring circuit 2 and set circuit 9. Circuit 9 generates pulse 41W46, circuit 2 counts pulse period Tp and counted results are converted 4 into address data, and from designated address of memory 5, instrumental error compensation coefficient is read out and is given to arithmetic operational circuit 6.
