Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to extend the actual time control and the adjusting range, by detecting whether or not the storage amount of a part reaches a given amount after the charge storage start of the optical sensor and controlling the charge storage time through the decision of the pick up time of stored charge.
CONSTITUTION: In each sensor element P of the optical sensor 11, when the charge storage starts in response to the incident light amount, one storage charge of the element P exceeds the storage capacity specified with the potential of the discharge gate 16, and the excessive part flows to the sink 7. Thus, the current corresponding to the flowing charge is outputted from the terminal 8a of the sink 7, it is in voltage conversion-amplification at the amplifier 17 and enters the Schmitt trigger circuit 18. The circuit 18 outputs pulses when the output voltage of the amplifier 17 reaches a given level, the monostabel multivibrators 19, 20 are triggered and they output single pulse respectively.
