Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the performance of satellite communication line, by uniforming the level difference of the upstream burst from each earth station by use of the automatic gain control system and effectively using the transmission output of the satellite with delivery from the downstream line. CONSTITUTION:The input signal is amplified with the amplifier 33 with gain control circuit, the output of the amplifier 33 is branched with the signal branch circuit 34 to supply one output to the detector 35, the detector 35 performs envelope detection to obtain the output proportional to the level difference of each burst of the input to control the gain of the amplifier 33 via the amplifier 36. Further, the output of the branch circuit 34 is branched at the signal branch circuit 37, the signal branched at the circuit 37 is fed to the detector 38, the detector 38 performs envelope detection, the output of the detector 38 is fed to the amplifier 39 with gain control circuit via the amplifier 40, the level difference of burst is uniformed through the control of the gain of the amplifier 39, allowing to be delivered from the downstream line, thereby increasing the performance of satellite communication.
