Abstract

PURPOSE: The title resin composition usable for forming a synthetic resin foam layer on a heat-resistant article by spray coating, comprising a synthetic resin powder of specific particle size and a blowing agent.
CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising (A) 100pts.wt. of a synthetic resin powder, e.g. a thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene, or a thermosetting resin such as epoxy resin, and (B) 2W15wt% of a blowing agent, e.g. azodicarbonamide or ammonium carbonate, having a higher decomposition temperature than the melting point of (A).
EFFECT: Easy formation of foam layers on metal, concrete, or glass. Uniform expansion ratio and improved appearance.
