Abstract

PURPOSE: To print the pattern on both sides of the printing medium without position displacement by performing one side printing first while holding the medium in a groove formed in the circumferential face of the first pressure roll and by performing the opposite side printing next by inverting the medium being made contact with a groove of the second pressure roll.
CONSTITUTION: The printing medium 1 is fed from the feed roller 3 to the circumferential face of the first pressure roll 4a, one side printing is performed by the first printing roll 6a while holding the medium in the groove 5, the UV ink is quickly cured by the infrared ray lamp 15 of the dryer 14. Next the medium 1 is made contact with the second pressure roll 4b the dimension of which is the same as that of the first one 4a and inverted to perform the printing onto the opposite side of medium by the pinting roll 6b. The surface speeds of both the pressure rolls 4a, 4b are made agree with each other exactly to prevent the occurrence of expansion- contraction difference between both faces of the printing medium. When the medium 1 moves from the printing position P of the roll 6a to the opposite side printing position R of the roll 6b, the gearing of gear transmission is adjusted so that the same pattern on the roll 6b comes the position R.
