Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent generation of molding burrs on the outer surfaces of permanent magnets by forming cut-out portions at the edges of the contacting surfaces of a pair of permanent magnets having an approximately semi-cylindrical shape, and contacting the outer surfaces of permanent magnets to a metal mold by the compressing force of synthetic resin.
CONSTITUTION: Semi-cylindrical concave grooves 3 are formed in the centers of the contacting surfaces 2 of approximately semi-cylindrical permanent magnets 1, and cut-out portions 4 are formed at the edges. Then, a steel pipe 6 is inserted in the cylindrical gap formed by the concave grooves 3 of a pair of permanent magnets 1 and 1 whose surfaces are contacted. The permanent magnets 1 ,1 and a tubular yoke 5 having an opening hole on one side are arranged in a metal mold 8, and synthetic resin 7 is injected in the mold 8, thereby the end surfaces of the permanent magnets 1 and 1 and the bottom of the yoke 5 are incorporated into one body by the synthetic resin 7. Since the compressing force of the synthetic resin 7 acts on the a cut-out portions 4 of the permanent magnets 1 and pushing them outward, the accuracy of the dimensions of the rotor- tube-enclosing gap between the inner surface of the yoke and the outer surface of the permanent magnets is improved, and the molding burrs are not generated on the outer surfaces of the permanent magnets.
