Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a device for the preparation of soybean milk, capable of crushing, heating and separating soybeans in a single vessel, comprising a vessel furnished with a soybean crusher, a heater and a transferable filter, and a means for pressing the filter. CONSTITUTION:A device for the preparation of soybean milk which comprises a main body case 1, a top-opened vessel 3 placed on said case 1 and furnished with a crusher cutter 4 at the bottom, a heater 7 attached to the bottom of said vessel 3 and regulated by the temperature sensor 8, a vertically movable filter 11 inserted into said vessel 3 and furnished with a means for sealing between the filter and the vessel, and an empty chamber 25 enclosed with a case 24 and placed upon said filter 11. Soybeans are charged into the vessel together with a proper amount of water, crushed with the cutter 4, and heated with the heater 7. The generated steam is exhausted through a reducing valve 26. When the heater 7 is switched off, the filter 11 is automatically lowered by the negative pressure in the vessel 3 caused by cooling, and soybean milk is seeped upon the filter 11. The filter may be lowered by hand, or by the vapor pressure of a vaporizable liquid such as alcohol.
