Abstract
PURPOSE:The seed yarn passing through the hole in the twist setting guide with specific structure is introduced, as it is, into the rotating spinning chamber where the yarn is knotted and the spinning is started, then the spun yarn is connected to the twist setting guide with the threading lever in the automatic yarn knotter, thus increasing the rate of success in yarn knotting. CONSTITUTION:The seed yarn 2' for yarn knotting is introduced from hole 3 in twist setting guide 4 through pipe 10 into the spinning chamber so that the yarn does not substantially comes into contact with guide 4. After the yarn knotting and spinning are started in the state where the yarn is not connected with guide 4, the lever 9 fitted to the automatic yarn knotter is moved in the direction of arrow A to hook the spun yarn 2 and bend the yarn path. Then, on the way there lever 9 goes back in the direction of arrow B, the spun yarn 2 is passed through the yarn passing path 7 and connected. Thus, the twist setting is effected by bending the yarn at two places to produce the yarn spun by the open end method.
