Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A low speed system, composed of a step jet 5 having a float chamber 20, main jet 3, air port 5' and fuel port 5", a low-speed fuel line 7 having step air bleed jet 6 and of an injection port 8 around a secondary throttle valve 2, is set in the secondary intake line 2'. In addition, an accelerating fuel well 9, communicated with the air port 5' and having an air line upon it, is formed near the step jet 5. Fuel is always stored in the well 9 to the same level as that in the float chamber 20. This well 9 is communicated with the vicinity of the throttle valve 2 through a line 12 part of which is formed higher than the oil level to take in fuel from the well 9 as the throttle valve 2 is released.
