Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a graft membrane with low dimensional change by swelling by graft-polymerizing (meth)acrylic acid with added hydrophilic multifunctional monomer to a polymer film irradiated by ionizing radiation.
CONSTITUTION: After ionizing radiation is irradiated to a hydrocarbon type or a fluorine-containing polyolefin film such as polyethylene, polytetrafluoroethylene or the like, said polyolfein film is immersed in an aqueous (meth)acrylic acid solution with added hydrophilic multifunctional monomer selected from polyethylene glycol di(meth)acrylate shown by the formulas I, II (n is 3 or more) at a concentration of 1W15wt% to (meth)acrylic acid and (meth)acrylic acid is graft-polymerized to a polyolefin film.
