Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Around the luminous tube is spirally wound a reed stem wire 11. A magnetic field, having a line of magnetic induction in the direction of tube axis of the luminous tube, is induced in a space region within the luminous tube by a current flowing in the reed stem wire 11, and a charged particle in discharge arc being held likely to follow amount this line of magnetic force, thus the discharge arc can stably exist with a turbulence prevented due to self magnetic field.
