The alkali-resistant electric insulator 12 is prepared by dissolving an aliphtic polyamine hot melt type adhesive in an organic solvent, by coating the solution, and then by drying the coat, which serves to prevent the climbing phenomenon of alkali electrolyte encountered for several minutes after the injection of electrolyte or paste into the negative-polar lid and is sealed immediately after the injection of electrolyte into the negative pole side.
