Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent climbing phenomenon as well as raise liquid-leaking resistance by using a negative-polar lid to which an alkali-resistant electric insulator is adhered. CONSTITUTION:The alkali-resistant electric insulator 12 is adhered to the whole surface of the bent edge of the negative-polar lid 11 molded by punching a copper- stainless steel doubled plate. The alkali-resistant electric insulator 12 is prepared by dissolving an aliphtic polyamine hot melt type adhesive in an organic solvent, by coating the solution, and then by drying the coat, which serves to prevent the climbing phenomenon of alkali electrolyte encountered for several minutes after the injection of electrolyte or paste into the negative-polar lid and is sealed immediately after the injection of electrolyte into the negative pole side. Thus, it is possible to prevent the climbing phenomenon of electrolyte and to raise its liquid-leaking resistance.
