Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the sufficient reproduction capacity for the master unit to the impedance fluctuation of the signal line, by carrying out the signal transmission between the master unit and the slave unit via the carrier signal of the single frequency and at the same time simplifying the circuit constitution of the slave unit. CONSTITUTION:Transistor Q1 is turned on and off at the slave unit via the return signal pulse sent from return signal generation circuit 6. With ON of Q1, full-wave rectifier BD1 is turned on, and the short-circuit is given to signal line 2 by the serial resonance circuit consisting of coil L1 and capacitor C1. Here if the coincidence is secured previously between the serial resonance frequency and the carrier frequency, line 2 receives the short-circuit in terms of the carrier frequency when the signal from circuit 6 features H. At the return signal reproduction circuit of master unit 1, the carrier signal sent from amplitude modulator circuit 7 is supplied to line 2. In case the carrier signal is short-circuited at the slave unit, the secondary side waveform of transformer T1 is detected through the 1st and the 2nd detection circuits 8 and 9. And each detection output is applied to comparator Q2. As a result, the return signal from the slave unit is reproduced at the output of Q2.
