Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve operability by provision of an indication lamp interlocked with a pilot-flame safety valve. CONSTITUTION:An indication lamp 17 is connected to an ignitor power source 15 and a thermo element 10 through an electronic circuit 16. The circuit 16 detects a terminal voltage between the ends of a pilot-flame safety valve 3 due to supply of power from the power source 15, compares the detected voltage with a reference voltage, and turns on the lamp 17 when the deviation has exceeded a predetermined value. Thus, the lamp 17 is turned on upon attraction of the valve 3 and turned off upon release of the valve 3. As a result, at the time of pilot-flame ignition operation, the opening time of the valve 3 can be detected accurately by on-off operation of the lamp 17, operability is improved, and pilot-flame ignition can be conducted securely.
