Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a printing ink for laminate having excellent adhesive property and improved lamination adaptability by using vehicle of acrylic copolymer having carboxylic gp. and hydroxyl gp.
CONSTITUTION: An ink composition contains vehicle ingredient essentially consisting of acrylic copolymer having both functional gps. of carboxylic gp. and hydroxyl gp. Application of an acrylic copolymer having acid value of 5W30 and hydroxyl value of 5W30 is preferable. If acid value is less than 5, extrusion lamination workability becomes poor; if acid value exceeds 30, the cohesive force of polymer rises and adhesive property as well as water resistance decrease, and therefore its use is not preferable. Hydroxyl value below 5 renders the adaptability to dry lamination poor, and hydroxyl value exceeding 30 deteriorates water resistance and wrinkle resistance, and thus makes ink property poor.
