Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify self-synchronization by separately receiving the positive signal and negative signal of a bipolar pulse phase modulated signal, by applying those separated positive and negative signals to a logic circuit, and then by extracting a data signal and synchronizing signal from both positive and negative signals. CONSTITUTION:A bipolar pulse phase modulated signal received by pulse transformer 31 is separated into two, a positive signal and negative signal, which are amplified by amplifiers 21 and 22 to obtain logic signals by converting. Those converted logic signals are applied to NAND gates 1 and 2, and 11 and 12 constituting a logic circuit, and while the output of NAND gates 1 and 2 are applied to delay circuit 14 via NAND gates 3 and 4, outputs of circuit 14 and gates 3 and 4 are applied to NAND gates 7 and 8, thereby outputting data signals DT of the positive and negative signals to the outputs of NAND gates 9 and 10 receiving the outputs of gates 7 and 8. Further, the outputs of gates 11 and 12 receiving the outputs of gates 3 and 4, and amplifiers 21 and 22 are applied to NAND gate 13, so that synchronizing signal CP of the positive and negative signals will appear at the output of gate 13.
