Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent channel holding operation and channel reserving operation from influencing each other badly, by detecting switching states of a group of channl selection switches when the channel of a tuner agrees with that selected and reserved by the channel-selection switch group. CONSTITUTION:Channel selector sircuit 3 performs the channel selection of tuner 11 to drive channel display unit 2 and channel reserving circuit 4 memorizes the selected and reserved channel to drive circuit 3 and display unit 2; circuits 3 and 4 are controlled by common channel-selection switch group 1. At the time of the channel selecting reservation, channel-selection inhibition circuits 5 and 6 fix the channel selection content of the tuner of circuit 3, preventing it from changing through the channel reserving operation. Here, when the selected and held channel of tuner 11 agrees with that selected and reserved by switch group 1, the switching states of switch group 1 are detected and circuit 4 reserves the channel by its output signal. Consequently, the channel holding operation and channel reserving operation can be prevented from being under mutual bad influence.
