Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve a device simple in channel selection operation, by providing a switch which switches the channel of a normal television broadcast and the cannel of CATV band. CONSTITUTION:When a key switch 2 is switched to the 1st state, a band infromation forming circuit 62 discriminates this, and either band switching signal of VHF low band, VHF high band or UHF band is outputted, and a data corresponding to the channel number inputted from a ten-key 1 is given to a PLL synthesizer 7 to select a desired channel. When a key switch 2 is switched to the 2nd state, this operation signal is given to an ROM control circuit, and a data corresponding to a CATV band is given to the PLL synthesizer 7 with the channel number inputted from the key switch 1.
