Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce harmful content of exhaust gas by having exhaust gas reacted, which is made as the result of surrounding combined exhaust gas with solid portliner, by combining each exhaust manifold in multi-cylinders of internal combustion engine at the inside of the cylinder head. CONSTITUTION:In a internal combusion engine of multi-cylinders torch ignition system consisting of main combustion chamber 4 and sub-combustion chamber 7, exhaust port 12 as formed in cylinder head 40 and connected to main combustion chamber 4, is placed so that it can be combined with neighboring two ports of cylinders at least. At the combined part, solid portliner 12c is placed through gap 12b. Also in the portliner 12c, exhaust gas is kept warm to have reaction arisen, and at the slipstream of portliner 12c, reactor is installed to completely apply oxidation removal to harmful content.
