Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a toxic gas from leaking to outside through a bearing part, by providing a hermetically sealed vessel, air-tightly installed to the pump housing unit, for accommodating a gas leaking through the bearing, and providing a lubricant oil system being air-tightly held in the hermetically sealed vessel.
CONSTITUTION: The rotation of a motor 8 rotates a rotor 5 to suck and deliver a gas to be used. The gas to be handled within a pump housing unit 2 partially leaks to outside of the pump housing unit 2 through a clearance between a bearing 9 and a rotary shaft 6, however, the leaking gas flows into a hermetically sealed vessel 11 further to be contained. And a leaking gas, flowing through the bearing 9, is partially mixed with a lubricant oil entering a lubricant waste oil sump 17, further entering an internal air space 21 of the hermetically sealed vessel 11 through an oil sump air vent 19. In this way, with the hermetically sealed vessel 11 accommodating the leaking gas, passing through the bearing 9, further with a lubricant oil system 15 being kept air-tightly, a leakage of toxic gas to outside can be prevented.
