Abstract
PURPOSE:To require the special frequency as the pen frequency through transmission of the pen signal with variation of the carrier wave's frequency as well as to narrow the band necessary for the pen signal and to eliminate the effect by the loss of the transmission. CONSTITUTION:Amplitude modulation 13 is given to carrier wave f1 of oscillator 14 via composit output 12 of X signal fx and Y signal fy which are given from telautogram signal generator 11. Thus, both side band waves f1 + or - fx and f1 + or - fy are produced for fx and fy each. On the other hand, f1 is turned to f2 (dotted lines) which features the higher frequency by f according to the binary state of pen signal P, and accordingly each side band wave is heightened by f and then transmitted to transmission line 15. At the receiver side, AM detection 16 is given to the received signal, and both the X and Y signals which are separated in terms of frequency are obtained for the composite signal obtained via LPF17 and BPF18. While frequency discrimination 19 is given to the received signal from line 15 to obtain signal P. Thus, the reproduced X and Y signals plus pen signal P are supplied to telautogram producing device 21 to reproduce the telautogram.
