Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the subject device wherein a lunch box type corrugated filter of a vacuum cleaner is caused to carry out dust removing operations of reciprocating motion, and a prefilter is caused to carry out rotating motion, whereby cotton dust adhering to the prefilter is removed without decreasing the dust removing effect of the filter.
CONSTITUTION: Air containing dust attracted through a suction hole 6 is passed through a prefilter 12 to filtrate coarse dust, and further fine dust is filtrated through a main filter 8. At the time of throwing away refuse, a dust catching case 3 is removed from the main body 1 by pressing a tail lock 4, a dust removing lever 25 is caused to make left and right reciprocating motions. A dust removing spring 24 fitted to the lever 25 comes into collosion with the corrugated summits of the main filter 8 thereby to beat off fine dust adhering to the corrugated wall. Since the click 26 of the dust removing lever 25 and that 29 of a clutch plate 28 are of triangular shape, the rotation of the level 25 is transmitted to the clutch plate 28, and a click 30 at the inner side thereof is engaged with a pin 31 to rotate an interlocking shaft 23. A connecting gear 21 fixed to the interlocking shaft 23 also rotates, and the prefilter 12 enmeshed therewith rotates thereby to remove adhering cotton dust and carry out cleaning.
