Abstract

PURPOSE: To statically measure the stress distribution of a moving blade cover during rotation by fixing the turbine moving blade cover fixed with a group of moving blades liquid tightly to a casing, feeding pressurizing fluid to the moving blades and performing testing.
CONSTITUTION: When a cover 2 is placed via packings 14 to the spacers 15 provided with openings corresponding to the outside circumference of a moving blade cover 2 and keep plates 16 are fixed together with packings 19 to a casing 13, the cover 2 is fixed to the casing 13 and at the same time the other ends of the moving blades 1... fixed to a fixing base 12 fit into the openings of the cover 2. When the fitted one ends of the moving blades are caulked, the cover 2 is oil tightly fixed to the casing 13. When in this state the space formed by the bottom of the cover 2 is filled with liquid 18 of a specified pressure from an oil feed tube 17, the cover 2 receives stresses of the distributions similar to those of the case when centrifugal forces are being applied at the rotating. Hence, the stress distibutions of the moving blade cover during rotation may be statically and surely measured.
