Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A centering shaft 3 is inserted between cylinders 1 and 2 to be centered at a spacing from the inner circumferences thereof. In the spacing, the positions 9a and 9b of the centering shaft 3, which are equidistant along the circumferences of the shaft 3, to supply a pressurized fluid through supply passages 7, 8a and 8b. By making the pressures equal at the positions 9a and 9b, the spacing is made constant to ensure the accurate centering operation.
