Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a method of packaging pesticides, the method being suitable for dissolving or dispersing a prescribed amount of a powder pesticide in water without bringing the pesticide into contact with any part of human body when the pesticide is used.
CONSTITUTION: The present method comprises packaging a pesticide by a material which is made of a porous and water-insoluble backing laminated with a water- soluble high polymer and sealing the resulting package. In this regard, the porous and water-insoluble backings include customarily used paper materials such as natural or synthetic tissue papers and a combination thereof, Japanese papers, composite materials of paper and other material, customarily used woven materials of cotton, hemp, rayon or the like, unwaven fabrics and composite materials containing one or more of these. The water-soluble high polymers include water-soluble or water-dispersible high polymers such as polyvinly alcohols, carboxymethylcelluloses, dextrins, starches, argars, gelatins and the like.
