Abstract

PURPOSE: To treat gas purification and exhaust without public pollution without facility and purge or the like by burning and decomposing solid waste in a shift furnace, by wet purifying exhaust gas thus produced to produce concentrated waste liquid, and hydraulically feeding the waste liquid into the furnace to melt and decompose it.
CONSTITUTION: Various refuses are charged through an inlet 2 of a melting furnace 1 to be burned and thermally decomposed thereby. Inflammable gas including dust from the top 5 of the furnace is introduced into a dust remober 6 and the venturi scrubber 7 of a wet purifier. High pressure water 8 is sprayed from the throat 9 of the scrubber 7 to purify the gas to exhaust the waste liquid into a water content separation tank 11, tar sludge into a stirring tank 12, and overflow water into a hydraulic floating tank 13. Thus, the tar scum is mixed in the tank 12. The tar scum and sludge are blown into a furnace 16 by a reciprocating pump 15 provided in the vicinity of the intake port 3 of the furnace 1 for thermal decomposition into gas.
