Abstract
PURPOSE: A rubber composition having improved fluidity and green strength while uncrosslinked, and high rigidity and modulus with little temperature dependence after crosslinking, comprising 1, 2-polybutadiene and a rubber crosslinkable with it.
CONSTITUTION: A composition, which is a crosslinked rubber composition comprising 15W80 parts by wt. of 1, 2-polybutadiene with a vinyl bond content ≥70% and 85W20 parts by wt. of at least one type of rubber selected from natural, diene, and ethylene-α-olefin rubbers, has a residual crystallinity ≤8%, preferably ≤5%, and a volume change in toluene ≥80%, preferably 110W180%. The lower residual crystallinity (if lower than 8%), the better and the smaller will be the temperature dependence of physical properties. When the volume change is <80%, the residual crystallinity can be scarcely observed, but the rubber-like properties are lost.
