Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce preparing, conveying and centering rotation by conducting processing (or machining) operation in such a manner as to install (or attache) a required tool and attachment to a head capable of displacing in up-and-down and forward-and-backward directions synchronously with revolution of a work rotating device on a right-and-left movable column installed on the head.
CONSTITUTION: As a work 5 is turned around a straight line 4 by means of a rotating device, a head saddle 9 is displaced in up-and-down direction (in Y axial direction) at a stroke being double of a rotating radius r of an eccentrical shaft 16 of the work 5 and at the same cycle as the rotating cycle of the work 5. And at the same time, by displacing a head 10 in back-and-forth direction (in Z axial direction) at the same stroke and at the same cycle as the rotating cycle of the work 5 and by making the head 10 and a tool 13 exercise a circular movement at a radius r by means of composition of Y axial and Z axial directional displacements, surface of an eccentrical shaft 16 is ground and processed by the tool 13. And further, by displacing the column-equipped head 10 in X axial direction in parallel with the straight line 4 and by installing (or attaching) various tools and attachements to the head 10, such processes as mealing and drilling, etc are conducted.
