Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the cooling effect of an eddy current joint and make the outer frame miniaturized and light-weighted by embedding a heat pipe in a drum and carrying out cooling.
CONSTITUTION: When an eddy current joint is driven by a driving motor 1, a drum 6 imbibes outside air from an intake port 15, and the inner surface of an eddy current cylinder part 6a is cooled, and the air passes through a fan 6b through the slit of an inductor 13 and is discharged from an exhaust port 14. The eddy current cylinder part 6a transmits a portion of generated heat to the heating part 16a of heat pipes directly through heat pipes 16 embedded, and the heat is transmitted to the heat radiation part 16b of the heat pipes 16 at a fan part 6b, and the heat is radiated through heat pipe fins 17 by the cooling wind which flows in a ventilation flue, and cooling is performed. From an intake port 19, outside air is imbibed by the action of a front side fan 6b and cools a supporting body 4, and the heat radiation part 16b of the heat pipes 16 is cooled.
