Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent separation formed around a bead core, by arranging a flipper consisting of a mixture of short fibers and rubber, which has directional properties and abounds affinitive adhesive properties whith a rubber layer, around the bead core.
CONSTITUTION: In a sheet-like flipper 4 consisting of a mixture of short fibers and a rubber compounding agent, directional properties are given by arranging the direction of short fibers in a row at an approx. right angle to the ambient direction of a tire, and separation around a bead core 2 and the cutting, etc. of carcass ply-cords 1 in organic fibers with thermal contractibility in the case when using said ply-cords can be prevented by adequatey selecting the length of the short fibers and wt. ratio to a rubber portion.
