Abstract

PURPOSE: For easy engagement of a screw-driver with a member to be fastened, to decrease the revolutions, revolution torque and feed speed of a motor until said driver engages said member and to increase said specifications after engagement.
CONSTITUTION: When a slide head 6 has advanced to a position where the tip of a driver 11 engages a nipple (member to be fastened), a second cam 36 and the rod 35 of a change-over valve 27 disengage each other, oil liquid can be passed through the passage 27 of said change-over 27, and the advance speed of a piston rod 5 that was low before engagement becomes high. In the meanwhile, a limit switch 32 is operated by a first cam 34 to operate a relay circuit. Thereby, the revolutions and revolution torque of a motor 8 are increased above those bafore engagement to rotate said nipple so that a spoke is tensed. When nipple fastening force has reached a fixed value, said limit switch 33 is operated to stop the revolution of said motor 8 and to reverse said slide head 6.
