Abstract
PURPOSE:For high-accuracy steady machining, to prevent short-circuit from getting caused by the machining chips or gas produced in machining clearance and the breakage of wires by causing high-frequency vibration to wire electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Pulses or AC is supplied to the wire electrodes 1 transferring to a drum 3 from a drum 2 due to the take-up of said drum 3 by power supply rollers 12 and 13 through a terminal 14. The magnetic field generated by a magnetic field generator works on said wire 1 in which power supply current flows. Thus, the wire 1 is caused to bend orthogonally with the initial transfer direction thereof and the portion of said wire 1 between guides 6 and 7 to vibrate axially so that the above- described purpose is attained.
