Abstract

PURPOSE: To generate electric signals simultaneously with the operation of an external operating member and to prevent the chattering by composing a switch circuit of two memory circuits and a detecting circuit, which is operative to detect the change from conduction to inconduction of the external operating member thereby to generate signals.

CONSTITUTION: In an electronic watch having a stop-watch function, in response to the operation of a start switch of a switch group 10 upon the start of measurements, a switch circuit 11 generates electric signals to open a gate 5 so that the signals from a 10ⁿHz generating circuit 4 are fed to a stop-watch counter 6. The switch circuit 11 is composed of memory circuits 103 and 104 and a detecting circuit t07. The output 106 of the memory circuit 103 is fed to the detecting circuit 107, which is operative to detect that the switch 10 is released completely from an input terminal 101 thereby to generate signals 109. As a result, the electric signals without chattering can be generated simultaneously with the mechanical operation of the switch from the output of the memory circuit 104.
