Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent sensitivity from lowering even if a reception frequency lowers, and to widen the band by controlling the switching of an antenna element automatically corresponding to the reception frequency. CONSTITUTION:By a frequency control signal from frequency controller 8, the dividing ratio of divider 11 is varied and the pulse width of an output pulse signal of divider 11 is also varied. The output of divider 11 is supplied to switching pulse generator 10 and output terminals E1 to En of switching signal generator 4, pulse signals appear which are delayed in sequency at every pulse width T of the switching signal. Since output terminals E1 to En of this generator 4 are connected to antenna elements A1 to An, elements A1 to An are selectively connected to one receiver 3 in sequence by the switching signal, the frequency of filter 15 and the delay time of delay circuit 13 are varied by a frequency control signal at the same time as the variation in pulse width of the switching signal. Consequently, the frequency of the antenna is varied automatically corresponding to the frequency of the reception signal, so that bearings can be measured invariably.
