Abstract

PURPOSE: To release the radiation energies having been accumulated in a thermofluorescent material by inserting the thermoluminescence dose measuring element after exposure to radiations in the element inserting part of the annealing apparatus and supplying hot air to the square holes of the element frame.
CONSTITUTION: The element frame 2 of a thermoluminescence dose measuring element 1 formed of the element frame 2 having square holes 4 fixed with glass tubes 5 sealed therein with thermofluorescent material and a knob 3 is inserted into the element inserting part consisting of an element guide plate 42 and element pressure contact plate 48 by way of the air influent hole 41 of an element insertion guide 35. The hot air being supplied through a hot air passaageway 27 is then introduced through hole 43 to blow to the square holes 4 of the element frame 2 and is exhausted through an exhaust hole 54 thereby heating the thermofluorescent material in the glass tubes 5 disposed in the square holes 4 having been subjected to radiation exposure and letting the radiation energies having been accumulated thereon be released. Since the abovementioned exhaust hole 54 is formed smaller in diameter then the hole 43, the hot air is exhausted after heating the tubes 5 sufficiently without simply going through the circumferences of the glass tubes 5.
