Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A plate type heat exchanger is so constituted that a wave-shaped plate 9 consisting of an uneven surface 10 in wave form and a flat surface 11 formed at the middle position of the amplitude of unevenness and having a number of small holes 12 is inserted between flat surfaces 3 in the header part of a laminated heating plate 2. The fluid in high temperature and pressure flows at a right angle into the heat exchanger from the flow passage port 13 at the upper part in the longitudinal direction P and flows through a flow passage 14 between the wave- shaped surface 10 of the wave-shaped plate 9 and the flat surface 3 of the heating plate 2, and flows into the flow passage A between wave-shaped surface 1 of the heating plate 2 and flows out from a flow passage port 15.
