Abstract
PURPOSE: To dissolve the deflection and to improve the denitration efficiency, by regulating the distance of laminar catalyst between mutual catalysts and between plates etc.
CONSTITUTION: The catalyst element 3 is composed of many laminar catalysts and the catalyst layer 2 is formed by accumulating the element 3 in the square reaction vessel 1. Deflection of gas is relieved and reduced by the vacant space (mixing zone) 4 being situated at the back of each catalyst layer even when the gas deflection is let existed, by positioning the layer 2 providing the space 4 in multistage. The width w of the zone 4 is 10W100 times of the catalyst distance e of the element 3 and is determined by the composition of treating gas etc. If it is desired, denitration efficiency is able to improve moreover by combining each width w of the space 4 and the distance e differently.
