Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the spacings between coil parts by using specific ways of winding coils between adjoining coil parts in the head comprising arraying a plurality of coil parts each consisting of a pair of coil which are so formed as to mutually bury the spacings by way of insulators. CONSTITUTION:For example, in a coil part 11, a first layer conductor pattern 12 is formed spirally in rightward two turns. Next, a second layer conductor pattern 14 is formed spirally in 3 turns to the portion of the spacing (d) of the pattern 12 by way of an insulation layer. On the other hand, in the coil part 11' to be adjoined to the coil part 11, the other first layer conductor pattern 12' of 3 turns is formed, after which the other second layer conductor pattern 14' of 2 turns is formed in the spacing of the pattern 12' in the similar manner as above. By alternately subsequently arraying the coil parts 11, 11', etc. comprising winding in the abovementioned manner, the thin film multitrack head may be formed without producing any spacing between the coil parts.
