Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the cleaning of a neutron measuring tube such as water fur etc. in the coolant, by means of setting up an elevatqr provided with brushes which can rotate in contact with the neutron measuring tube in a reactor.
CONSTITUTION: A lifter 6 is set up on an upper platform 5a of a reactor, and a base frame 8C of a guide rail 8 in which an elevator is moved along a neutrqn measuring tube 4 by an axis, is connected to a rope 7 of this lifter. Rotary brushes 11 are so arranged the axis that they 11 may be rotated in contact of the inner side of a frame of the elevator 10 with the outer circumference of the neutron measuring tube, thereby they are connected with a motor. For the cleaning of the neutron tube, the water fur etc. of the circumference of the neutron measuring tube is removed by means of inserting the guide rail 8 in a fuel supporting metal tool 2 by driving the lifter 6, and of allowing the elevator 10 and the rotary brushes 11 to be drived by the driving motor.
