Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit, by using PAL color demodulation circuit and SECAM chroma demodulation circuit, and including the circuit operated with the system differently to the SECAM circuit. CONSTITUTION:The color signal is fed to the signal selection circuit 37 in the SECAM chroma demodulation circuit 62 via ACC circuit 22. The circuit 37 supplies the output of the amplifier 22 at PAL reception with the signal from the system identifying circuit 36 to the delay line 33 of one hoizontal period, and at SECAM reception, supplies the output of the amplitude limit amplifier 35 to the line 33, causing either of the color difference signal processed with PAL color demodulation circuit processed with the SECAM color demodulation circuit. Processed signal can be obtained with the circuit 61 at PAL reception and the circuit 62 at SECAM reception, by connecting the output terminals 31 and 45 and 32 and 46. Thus, the circuit can be simplified since the delay line can be in common use and the circuit controlled with the discrimination signal is included only in the circuit 62.
