Abstract

PURPOSE: To charge molten fluid of constant quantity to a granulating machine, by feeding the molten fluid to a granulating machine through a conduit and a receiving pot, which is equipped with nozzle at its base and is connected to a ladle from which the molten liq. flows down.
CONSTITUTION: A slag ladle 1 holding molten liq. is set at a prescribed position and is inclined so as to keep the molten slag in a receiving pot at a prescribed level, and the molten liq. is fed to a receiving pan 30, which is mounted on a movable truck 31 and equipped with a nozzle opening 32 at the base. The molten liq. discharged from the nozzle opening 32 is fed through a conduit 3 to a granulating machine 4, where it is granulated with pressurized water. Then the granulated material is delivered through a granulated-slag conduit 6 to a stirring tank 7, where it is additionally cooled to form a uniform slurry, which is sent to a dehydrating tank by a pump 14.
