Abstract
PURPOSE: To stabilize the pH of slurry at oxidation tower and also to raise the economy of sulfuric acid consumptin by calculating unreacted Ca compound coming into the oxidation tower of stack gas desulfurization apparatus based on a wet type lime-gypsum method and then by increasing or decreaing the amount of sulfuric aic to be added to oxidation tower in advance according to the calculated unreacted Ca compound amount.
CONSTITUTION: The flow rate of the slurry 19 coming out of the absorber 1 is detected by the flow meter 27 and then sent to the oxidation tower 7. In this case, the pH of the slurry at the oxidation tower is regulated to 2 to 5.5 by controlling the amount of sulfuric acid to be added 8. The operation signal 26 for the supply of sulfuric acid is formed as follows: that is, the function device 20 is provided for calculating the concentration of unreacted Ca compound form the pH value of circulating slurry in absorber in order to obtain the operational signal 2. And, the pH of circulating slurry in absorber is regulated to 4 to 8 according to the degree of desulfurization. On the othe hand, the flow rate of slurry coming out of absorber is detected by the flow meter 27 to obtain the signal 22. Then, the signal 21 and the signal 22 are multiplied by the multiplier 23 to obtain the feed forward signal 24. The signal 24 and the oxidation gypsum slurry regulator output signal 11 are added by the ratio adder 25 to obtain the operational signal 26 of the sulfuric acid supply operational value 12.
