Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the S/N ratio of a signal output circuit by containing a photoelectric face 1, detection resistance and buffer amplifier within the same casing in an ultraviolet ray ionization type SF6 gas detector.
CONSTITUTION: When the photo electrons emitted from a photoelectric face 1 by ultraviolet ray radiation deposite on O2, SF6 gas in a casing 4, these are ionized. Negative ions 6 move toward an acceleration electrode 2 to which a voltage is applied from an acceleration power source 5 between shield electrode 3, while being accelerated with said electrode 2. Hence, the minute signal generated by the movement of the ions 6, i.e., displacement current, is flowed in a detection resistance 7 and is thereby converted to a voltage signal. This voltage signal is inputted to a buffer amplifier 8 and is thereby amplified. Although the input impedance of the amplifier 8 is high, it is converted to a low impedance by the amplifier 8 and the signal having been reduced of the effect of the distribution capacity of lead-out wires is sent out to an amplifier 10 which has output terminal 11 and is provided on the outside.
