Abstract

PURPOSE: To attempt the enhancement of operational ability and practicality of the scanning system by electromagnetically floating the carriage up, concurrently using the linear motor as a driving force, and scanning-moving the carriage.
CONSTITUTION: when the coil 11 b is energized and works, carriage 10 is floated up in the long groove 13a by causing the tractive magnetic force which acts upon between electromagnetic body 11 and magnetic rod 15 and the carriages 10 own weight to be in equilibrium. Besides drive rail 14 makes a pair of winding rotor 12 of the carriage 10 to constitute driving motor. Therefore at the time of working, the carriage can be made to reciprocate with the floating-up posture in the long groove 13a, and the lens 1 performs the light beam scanning operating during its reciprocating motion. Thus the operational ability and practicality of the scanning system can be enhanced.
