Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an accumulator heating system drive gear which accomplishes effective utilization of energy by facilitating the regeneration of energy through a reversible giving and taking of kinetic and potential energy and pressure accumulation energy in driving of vehicles or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A prime mover 1 of the diesel engine, gasoline engine or the like drives not only an auxiliary engine 2 but also a compressor 4 through a clutch 3. In the compressor, air or other gas relatively dry with a pressure of about atmospheric pressure is sucked from a pressure regulating vessel 11 and then, fed to a low temperature accumulation chamber 5 as a high pressure working gas, after compressed cooled as much as posible. The high pressure working gas is heated by an exhaust gas or the like from a prime mover 1 through a heat exchanger 6, enters a high temperature accumulation chamber 7 and reaches an expansion device 8. With controlled operation of the expansion device 8, the load 10 is driven through a clutch and a transmission mechanism.
