Abstract

Further, fused glass is poured in the gap part 20 formed of the ferrite peice 19 and substrate 11 to form the Hall element head, then the gap of a narrow width determined according to the films 14, 16, etc. and of a length corresponding to the position of the groove 13 is formed with high accuracy. This high precision gap of a narrow width enables the high output head of good S/N to be provided.
