Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for worrying mechanical accuracy, clatter, vibrations, etc. by providing a laser device of detecting the arc movement quantity of a reflecting mirror throuh reflected laser light.
CONSTITUTION: Stationary guide means 15 which slidably guide an optical fiber 13 consists of multiple pairs of guide rollers which are fixed in the fixed position with respect to a magnetic disc 16 like a laser device 9 and particularly the guide rollers 15 which guide one end part on the reflecting mirror side of the fiber 13 are disposed on the arc centering about the oscillating axial line of an arm 1. Laser light 14 passes through the inside of the fiber, is reflected by a reflecting mirror 12 and returns to the laser device, but when the reflecting missor 12 moves up to the position of 12', the other end 17 of the fiber 13 moves linearly at the same distance as the arc moving distance of the reflecting mirror 12, and arrives at 17'. The laser device 9 feeds this position information back to the control circuit, which in turns positions the magnetic head 2.
