Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the monitor for the output power independently of the transmission frequency, by monitoring the FM modulation signal without using the cubic circuit through the demodulation of the signal which is always at a given frequency, by performing beat-down for the transmission frequency with the output of the transmission local oscillation frequency. CONSTITUTION:The modulation wave input from the terminal a is FM-modulated with the FM modulator 1, the output frequency f1 of the modulator 1 is converted into the frequency f2 with the transmission frequency conversion circuit 2 and it is amplified with the power amplifier 3 and is delivered to the transmission output terminal 6 via the pick up circuit 4. A part of the transmission output separated with the circit 4 and a part of the output of the transmission local oscillator 5 seperated with the pick up circuit 6 are synthesized with the dual frequency synthesizing circuit 7 and the resultant is fed to the detector 8. Further, the output of the detector 8 is fed to BPF5, obtaining the same frequency f1 as that of the modulater 1. This output is demodulated with the FM demodulater 10 and is delivered to the monitor output terminal C. Further, the output of the detector 8 is fed to LPF 11 and it is outputted to the power monitor terminal d after picking up DC component.
